Nel brevissimo racconto di Fredric Brown, «Sentinella», si manifesta, improvviso e dirompente, il senso profondo della tolleranza; un valore, quest’ultimo, che il mondo attuale mette continuamente alla prova, ora stravolgendolo ora recuperandolo, e che bene attecchisce e si rinnova nel territorio ospitale ed etico della traduzione.
